My question is - Is it possible that all clauses related to illegal immigration will be striked off, while legal will go through? To my understanding, the main objective of this bill is to solve the issue of illegal immigration. Legal immigration is just an additional section.. Coming back to proposals of Specter, the idea that there is so much relief that we dont need to worry about this or that...here is the thing...Current markup is a proposal. Not even a final version of Judiciary committee markup. From there you lose some things when it goes to the full floor of senate and then A LOT OF THINGS when the hawks from the HOUSE of REPS like Tancredos and Smiths slither their tentacles on the Senate version in the CONFERENCE COMMITTEE. That's the reason we dont want to lose one thing even if we are gaining 10 things because those 10 things might be reduced to 2 by the time its negotiated in the conference committee between the house and the senate.
However, if you want to provide more input on this issue, you are most welcome to email Sandeep who is leading the content-prep team that writes these webfaxes and letters. His email is sandeep@immigrationvoice.org

Can you get a copy of ETA 750 Form A? That will tell you if the job requirements were filed under EB2 or Eb3.

In fact the line line 14 is blank which says list documents that support education, training, experience..etc. to be submitted during I-140. If one IV member moves from State A to B, what would be the process of transferring membership to state chapter?
Will it merely be a deleting datbase record from one state and adding it to another state? Or would it be again filling up survey to new state chapter..?

Unless, people realize that it is in their interest to spread this grass root effort it is all futile. Do you guys really think that distributing fliers by four guys at the parade is going to make a difference.
Though I really commend what these guys did and they were truly heroes but if I were them, then based on the turn out (only 4 people) I would have decided to go back.
After all, these were not doing only for themselves but for every one else too.

I am the only person on my companies payroll and only person on their H1B. Is that going to be a probelm if i go for H1B stamping to mexico?

It is very risk to go for stamping, any consular post with only one person working for the company. If you wait for an year or so, company should be able to back you up with enough financial paper work your stamping. Additionally, you will also have documents to prove continuous employment (pay stubs, w2 and tax returns). Also PIMS verification has begun at all consular posts, resulting at lease 4-7 business days of delay in visa issuance. If I were you, I would wait for a while and create enough documentation for successful stamping. My 2 cents - decision is your personal choice.

I had started my GC process just a couple months before my 6th yr began. But I was able to complete the requirements for PERM and apply for my Labor Cert only after my 6th yr started. I was 45 days short of 365 days requirement. But I was able to recapture all my time that I had spent outside of US on vacations in last 5 yrs and make up for the 45 days shortage.
Do keep in mind that completing the requirements for PERM itself easily takes up 2 months + time for all the initial paper work.
For your situation, you are already 4-5 months into your 6th yr.... thats going to be very tough.

eb3retro clearly mentioned that he/she is not interested in the 'debate of whether UB can be claimed while in AOS state', but still many without even checking anything anywhere just going on doubting, worrying, suggesting nonsense, etc.
