Hey Folks.
So today my boss mentioned that it would be really nice to use babel fish to translate our entire website much like what is being done here:
http://www.golfgolden.com/content/view/10/33/
with the babelfish box on the left side.
This actually isn't a bad idea over all, except when I try running our website (http://www.SkiBig3.com) through babel fish it breaks the DHTML drop down menus, I suspect this has to do with the fact that babelfish sticks the site into a frame but I'm wondering if anyone has or knows of a work around for this??
Babelfish is an abomination, useful only for laughs. Here's a paragraph from a German news website (FAZ.net) translated into English.
"Because on 22 July officials shot the innocent Brazilian Jean Charles de Menezes, whom they had regarded as a terrorist. For Blair however the reproaches, it are more serious an independent investigation of the "Independent policy Complaints Commission" in the case Menezes to stop wanted."

Same thing happened to many many Cubes, including mine. I rang up Apple, they sent some guys over the next day, they picked it up, and the next day, bam, back it was, all fixed up. I was impressed.
Of course, since the Cube's been on ice for so long, maybe Apple support won't be quite as helpful... but it's worth a shot. :) As somebody said, it is a known issue, and they seem willing to fix it at no cost.

If you have a screen protecter it could be dirt under the screen protecter.

Friday nights are the standard maintenance period for the Apple store.
You should get excited when you see that graphic, and it is not a Friday night.

I'm getting the same "sql_mode" error message. Must be a problem in the software.
I'm trying to access a remote host.

id much rather get a free one than pay for it, dont worry i'm not doing anything illegal so stop being nasty.
If I cheat on my significant other I'm not doing anything illegal. That doesn't mean that it's OK to do so.
I'd rather get a Mac for free too, but that doesn't mean I have so little self-respect I'd lie to get it.

There are so many threads on this general topic, that, ugh, please just search for them? But on the specific issue of TBE not working on your Mac, what do you mean? This sounds abnormal. I use FF and love it on my Mac. And I have TBE, and it works fine. The only thing that's flaky for me in TBE is closing FF and re-starting and having tabs resurrected on restart. That has never worked properly for me on PC or Mac. But TBE behaves the same for me on both OSes.
OTOH, I definitely do agree that a number of themes behave strangely on FF/Mac. Try Safarish -- http://www.aroussi.com/article/11/firefox-osx-safari-look -- if you like the way Safari *looks*. NOIA Xtreme worked pretty well for me on my Mac too.

I'd take a P&S if you don't have a good camera on your phone. We went to Disney World in September and used my iPhone 4 FAR more than even our Canon P&S because I could snap photos and video and immediately upload them to Facebook and email them to family that wasn't with us. They loved getting shots from us on the go and I liked not having to do that stuff later when I was exhausted.
Also, I highly recommend taking at least one backpack to put sunscreen, water and snacks in. Disney World does allow food to be taken in now so I also recommend taking lunch some days as eating there every day is expensive.
Have fun!

All of my browsers regularly freeze on MySpace. I regularly get a "playlist not valid" or some error like that because apparently the WMP 10 has a different format and since WMP9 for Mac was only available months after WMP10 for Windows, it doesn't know anything about the other. I suppose we should be thankful that we have WMP9 at all.
Anyway, from my experience you can't get things to work unless you use Windows. Apparently, Tom, the main person in charge uses a PowerBook to work on the site but everything is running on Windows NT 4. At least, I see the error messages for NT 4 once a month.

someone submitted a track off this album to DailyTunes a while back, and I refused to post it thinking it was a joke, like the person who submitted a track from the fart album. Agreed, it's different, but not in a good way. This album is a prime example of a middle-aged person living in mom's basement and collecting computer parts and recording equipment. Now he has an outlet for selling the 'songs' to fund his growing collection. :D

Hi there,
I bought a 128gb ssd, which is totally fine for me since I store all the data that I don't need on the road on my external harddrive.
However, I would like to play some games every now and then, which leads me to the problem that I need Windows for that.
I managed to free up 30gb, but that's not enough for Windows 7 with a decent game.
Now I read online that it is possible to install BootCamp on an external HDD. How can I do that? There are so many different guides that say different things, I don't really understand them.

It's not restoring to either though, I've created a few c.firmware packages with pwnagetool - all returning same error code 6 as official.

Do other hard drives (even your internal hard drive) show up on your desktop?
Yes, the MBPro drive works, and I have another ext. drive and that runs as well.

Hi
My gamertag is netgem21 and I wanna change it cos it sounds boring.
Wondering if anyone can come up with some ideas from this: (I don't want applemax)
My real name is Max
I like Apple
I'm not that great at gaming
I love Xbox 360 and Wii
Anything that sounds and looks cool and something that people will instantly know how to pronounce. I'm tired of people calling me 'net-g-em' instead of 'net-jem':D
Thanks and Good luck! I'm pretty fussy! :D

hmmm I'm asking if anyone has this case to rate the slip in and out of pocket. Ifound the rubbers on the griffin reveal frame to be impossible to slip in and out and gave up with the case. if this has the same rubber I'll avoid it and pick up the incase instead
i am using the Speck see thru satin and the "rubber lip" around the front screen is abit grippy and rubbery. Its not the texture like glossy TPUs.
But then i feel that i have no problem taking out of my jeans pocket.

Thanks. Though it is quite cumbersome compared to the keyboard shortcuts to take screenshots (http://guides.macrumors.com/Taking_Screenshots_in_Mac_OS_X).
