Does anybody plan on lining up at the Savoy, IL AT&T store? I'll probably show up around 4 am. Savoy is a small enough town that I think 4 am is plenty of time.

I don't make a living with Photoshop, but it is a pretty serious side activity of mine, and as I said before, for what it is, Photogene is perfectly adequate for the general iPad user.
Unless they can add color profiles, different colorspaces other than RGB (LAB, CMYK, et al.), Photoshop for professional use will never get off the ground on a device like this.
Not to say you should be able to do a complete workflow from import to print on a tablet device, which, at least for now, seems completely unrealistic -- but I would think pros need to be able to import, see colors in a reasonable approximation for proofing or showing to clients, and maybe make spot edits based on client feedback.
I honestly wasn't too thrilled with Photoshop Express, which is why when I saw Photogene, I was immediately impressed with is features.

You have to understand the law. What the seller did was intentionally try to deceived. Would a reasonable person be deceived by this listing, yes, therefore the judgement would go to the plaintiff if something like this ever went to court.
The seller should be banned and hopefully will.

Yes, men should stop. And to prevent sexual assault women should dress in a classy way. I hope you're getting my point.
How many women have you personally raped because they looked like sluts? How many women have your friends raped because of how they looked? Have you or any of your friends ever been able to restrain yourself from raping a provocatively dressed woman?
If I personally knew someone who seriously entertained the notion of raping a woman, for whatever reason, I would do my best to see them get therapy at the very least.

Well, as I said before
NUTTY FOLKS: OMG Apple keeps a copy of some wifi stations on my phone. It's a huge privacy violation!
FACT: Apple doesn't access the database cache, emails, passwords, photos on your phone either.
Except, Apple says that they actually do access the location database:
5. Can Apple locate me based on my geo-tagged Wi-Fi hotspot and cell tower data?
No. This data is sent to Apple in an anonymous and encrypted form. Apple cannot identify the source of this data.
8. What other location data is Apple collecting from the iPhone besides crowd-sourced Wi-Fi hotspot and cell tower data?
Apple is now collecting anonymous traffic data to build a crowd-sourced traffic database with the goal of providing iPhone users an improved traffic service in the next couple of years.

Every time I see a blood drive my blood just boils... As an HIV negative gay man who is in a monogamous committed long term relationship with my partner, I doubt I am any more of a risk then any other heterosexual couple in a relationship, yet they don't see it that way....
Their loss..
I doubt you are either. I'm ineligible because I spent a week in Africa 6 months ago. I didn't sleep with anyone, and just spent all my time in an office doing economics research. The thing is, it's about getting as much blood as possible for the lowest cost (the cost comes in screening), and that is done by eliminating people in broad strokes, rather than on a case by case basis. Don't take it personally.

Pop culture has that lowest common denominator appeal about it; that's why it's popular. Good luck on raising that bar. But let's not kid ourselves here - he was fined for PC reasons, albeit trivially so given the size of his paychecks. Otherwise, we wouldn't be seeing half of the NBA tripping over themselves to issue statements and apologies and conduct investigations.
That IS very true. Usually "pop culture" influences and is taken up by two major groups...kids...and the lower classes. The artists often target these groups and as for the kids...well, it's hard to stop them from "speaking thier minds" because the are just all about spur of the moment. And they would say things without even realizing what it means or the consequences...some simply don't care.
The "lower classes" aren't as educated so many will also adopt "pop culture" from TV or wherever they get it from without realizing what impact it has on others arround them and in the different environments. Fore example, you would see more educated and/or high class people with "manners" in such sensitive situations vs. like a bunch of "blue collar red necks" so to speak. Even when you're just out of adolescence, you can see this distiguishment. What I've found is that in general "harvard types" interact differently from "community college types". And this fits even later in life although "most" older ppl would have matured to a certain extent. Not to mention that "harvard types" are much rarer than "community college types" so hence...where "pop culture" thrives more.

You cannot set a webmail account to open when you click on a mailto URL. If you want to set up your e-mail account in your Desktop mail client (like Entourage) that is usually possible depending on what kind of e-mail account you have.

well this kinda goes along with the A-list requirements, for A-list you have to have a high enough minute plan, and if you do, like me, you never end up using your minutes because everyone you call is on your A-list. So I have 9000 rollover minutes... sheesh. And if i drop down a level, I lose all my rollovers, pay a fee, then have to bump it back up the next month anyway. It's just a complicated way of making sure I don't go over my minutes.
So I'll add this new feature tomorrow, and in 3 months I'll have 12000 rollover minutes. Hurray, i guess.
I am in the same boat, but I have over 11,000+ rollover minutes.

Do you have multiple iOS devices in the house? Or ones that come and go - like a friend visits and connects to your WiFi?
If so, there is an issue with some routers assigning the same IP to different devices and that will kick you off from time to time.
Resetting the router with both devices in the house will solve it. Happened to me when my Daughter visited and I connected her to my router. I kept loosing the WiFi. Then all was good after a router reboot. :)
Nope, just one iOS device, one android device and one wifi MacBook pro.

What proportion of iPhone users do you think understand what a cache is? How about what cell tower triangulation is? How about the Core Location framework? Most people don't understand the finer points of how their phone works. The vast majority don't care and just want it to work and not do anything nefarious. As phones get smarter, there are only going to be more things that people don't understand - I think he makes a fair point.
I have to agree with you on this.

Occam's Razor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occam%27s_Razor) does dictate that the explanation Apple has offered up is the most likely. Unlike what some other blogs have been claiming (:cough: Gizmodo :cough: ) it's unlikely that Apple meant to leave an unencrypted tracking database available on each phone.
Further, I examined a map of my iPhone's database and there were some unexplained blobs. Unexplained that is until I read Apple's description, and then it all fit. I flew through Atlanta 4 times in the past year, spending a total of a couple of hours there. My mapped blobs on Atlanta were much larger than the entire weeks I spent in Montana and Wyoming. The only way this makes sense is if the data is actually crowdsourced, which is exactly what Apple claims.
So I see little reason to disbelieve today's statements. (Unless you are inclined towards conspiracy theories, which an unfortunately high % of our population seem to be.)

Garden State Plaza store is like a mile away from me, but I always go to Tice's Corner (15 miles). I feel like I get better customer service there.

You change plans and the accumulated Rollover Minutes in your existing plan exceed the number of Anytime minutes in your new plan

i don't want to ruin everyones excitement, but straight from iLounge (http://www.ilounge.com) - New iPod shuffle arrives; old earphones, weak clip? (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/news/comments/new-ipod-shuffle-arrives-old-earphones-weak-clip/8907) :( :( :(
I really hope the weak clip issue is just because it is a shuffle from an early batch. Would anyone who already has a new shuffle like to comment on this?
