Thanks for the response PASCAL. However I still do not understand why IV is not encouraging everyone to send faxes and register their support via the AILA site. As I have understood AILA has been a leader in this effort for immigration {see July 2007}. If you are trying to say that the interests of AILA and IV are not exactly the same - that is to be expected - no 2 organizations can ever be the same - BUT - surely we can come together to form and pursue some strategic interests. I see that with regard to these bills IV and AILA interests meet. Further if readers @ IV send messages via AILA Action Alert then IV resources can be saved to follow the path that you have described above.
Finally, the bill may be a placeholder or position statement, but in the end we need to demonstrate the numbers - highlighting this bill may eventually lead to some worthwhile convergence in the CIR - I think no opportunity need be lost in this process and the more we highlight our position and condition the more visibility we get.

Finally I am a US citizen after being 10+ years in this country. This is one of my biggest fulfillments and it means everything to me. US is just not home anymore for me, it is my country.

Congrats buddy ! Its quite ironic that there are some people who filed a few months here or there from your PD in 2000/2001 and are still waiting for their GC and I know a few people who filed for GC in 2003/2004 and got it in 2005.

Hello I got a yellow form 221(g) during my interview. Got my passport and approval back during the interview.
Are other people in PIMS getting this yellow form/ 221(g) stating that "when administrative processing is completed in your case we will contact you"?
This will allow me to decide if I am stuck in PIMS or something else.

Ok, clearly you did not read what I wrote or you did not understand it. Here is what I wrote..
"Well, I don't think gctest is against EB3. He is against consultants from sleazy bodyshopping companies, which is right.". Some one left me a red saying "not all consultants from sleazy bodyshopping companies are incapable." I agree and I never said that. If I came across that way then I apologize.
Everybody is trying to survive in this world ..diff people react differently to same situation..lying on resume/achievements is not illegal(reason y no body is prosecuted because of this fact..they are simply denied that benefit) however its unethical ..but iam not here to preach ethics.

A fictional scenario to check whether you are ready to take advantage of a loop hole if its in your favour.( A nice quote on this -Everybody likes discrimination when its in their favour and they dont raise their voice then)

My point to say all companies lie/manipulate things to certain extent..desi consultants atleast dont deprive lives like other BIG companies where shareholders are kept in dark until they realize that company is no more worth anything.
Comparing one wrong doing with another does not justify as an argument. It is actually a logical fallacy. In other words, 2 wrongs do not make a right. Try doing that in the court of law.
Iam not supporting any malpractises are anything anyways this is not a criminal thing its just immoral ..
Malpractices are criminal (if law is violated) but a corporation cannot be tried criminally because it cannot go to jail.:)
You may have noted that I did not bring up morality even though I wanted to because everyone has a different measuring stick for it.
however if theres a loop hole and people want to chance it its upto them. They will be appropriately denied if they are caught, However its not like they are killing anybody.
I totally agree with that. Also, I don't think they will be denied because they did not do anything wrong. System provides them with an option for doing so.
Finally what do you think when even govt is planning to make illegals legals ..its respecting peoples wishes against legal things(ofcourse they get benifitted)Humanity/compassion is number one..rules are for our well being ..they are not hard and fast.

If someone has experience with working on the software they use for this site, they should volunteer their services. Dont we have a single 'Skilled' immigrant who can help implement those suggestions. This would be a great non cash contribution.

Hello,
Here is my case trail
worked with employer A from June 2005 on h1b visa.
Employer A applied for GC under PERM EB2 with PD - March, 2nd 2006 - labor approved in a couple of weeks
Employer A applied for i 140 in June 2006 and got approved in July 2006
Filed for i 485 in July 2008 never received FP notices
Project got over in last week of February 2008 and unable to find new project.
I switched jobs in last week of April 2008 using EAD - using AC21
Sent AC21 letter to USCIS in July 2008 about job change.
Employer A requested 140 revoke in August 2008.
Spouse got FP notice in August 2008 whereas I (primary) got NOID asking for new employment details.
Responded to NOID in a timely manner and on August 25th, 2008 - my status changed to "Response received - case processing resumed"
In Jan 2009 I got my FP notice.
In Jan 2009 - I travelled using AP and got back fine.
In March 2009 - I got a denial notice saying "485 is denied because 140 was revoked on August 2008. No appeal only MTR" - thisletter comes from a different officer id than the one who sent the NOID.
My question to UN and other gurus. Does it have anything to do with a changed interpretation? My lawyer says "This is a training issue - the new officer did not know about AC21 and as soon as he/she saw 140 as revoked - just ignored your other details on the case and issued a denial notice. This is very common and can be resolved using MTR"
Your lawyer is probably correct. This has to do with IO who are not aware of AC21 laws. But make sure your employer did not have any issues with DOL, USCIS in responding to RFEs related to other employees like H1 RFE, ability to pay , etc which may be used against your application.

Your attoney should be able to defend your case based on you salary more than PW.
The GC process is for future employement, your bosses ability to pay exists since he has paid you more salary than PW.
Your employer may be making loss every year, but he is paying you more than PW. Now your salary in itself is an expense for employer, so the fact that he is paying you may be making his financials look a little weak in term of profit loss.
Look at other threads on RFE issues, and talk to your lawyer.
I think you are fine.

and you dont need 15 sponsors for a bill. and having 3 sponsors does not weaken the merit of a bill. in fact most bills would only have less than 10 cosponsors.
And it was in the democrats' rule that the last EB favored legislation was passed.
