Guys, see below link... It is pretty bad ... Job posting to hire someone for pre-approvd labor.... All posts within last 2 weeks by 10 companies..... May be we need to email DOL and also other govt. organizations ....

Yes they should have stopped long back with perm introduction as it was no longer needed after perm.

Thanks for your suggestions.
First thing ,i should get visa dates then get my flight booked accordingly.I know both things are difficult to get synchronized thats why i am trying to gather all details ahead.
Lockers is a great idea ,i dinnt know about it.
Because of all the distances from delhi to native places and time shortage i have to do this.
So taking taxi from Delhi , i am pretty scared as i heard bad experiences. My couple friend got their certificates stripped of in delhi while they were going for visa.

It Looks somebody pointed out earlier that Adjudicator need to see Currentness of FBI background check, and for 2004/05 cases it was stale data, hence they reordered the Check. While for 2006, Background check might be current.
So say during September, 2008 VISA Bulletin they move Priority date to 2007, we'll see Lots if 2007 cases Approved.
then why is'nt NSC approving 2006 cases at the rate at which TSC is?
Its not just what year petitions are getting approvals, the two service centers are taking different approaches. That makes a mockery of the visa bulletin. Its almost NSC giving the middle finger to DOS saying, we dont care where you move dates, we'll approve whatever petitions we wnat, at whatever rate we want.

Your wife may be able to get a transportation letter/returning resident visa from her US consulate. These are usually given to people who have lost their green cards while overseas, but I have heard of consulates giving them to people with lost APs. It's worth asking. Good luck.

My wife was not given an I-94 when she entered using TL instead her passport was stamped with the arrival date and initials "LPr". I am getting ready to apply for a new AP for us what should I write as her "Class of Admission"? Also do you foresee any issues with the AP renewal since I cannot send them a copy of an I-94?

For Anti-immigrants atleast we know where they stand and we know what to expect from them. usinpac is the worst kind of disease for the community where they can trick you anytime and you will not even know when they are stabbing you at your back. They just want to do photo-ops and claim the credit for the things they didn't even know. I live in VA and most people in Indian community in northern VA know about the inside story of these scamster. Initially a few lawmakers got the impression that usinpac represent the Indian American community, maybe that is what the con-artist at this org conveyed to a few lawmakers. Now everybody in DC area, including the lawmakers, know the truth about this group. A journalist friend in MD told me that even press and reporters know about this totally useless org called usinpac.
It is one thing if they do something and then claim credit for doing it. The problem is first of all they claim to represent entire Indian American community; on top of that they do not do anything about the any issue including green card issue. But when they see something happening they will try to take ownership of anything moving and will try to make a show that things are moving because of them. Just as in this case, all the members of IV sent flowers and these guys are releasing press release to tell to the world that they are the once doing this drive. Such press release from them is extremely damaging as the basic intent of the ENTIRE flower campaign was o draw media attention. In this case usinpac did not spare all the people spending days and nights to coordinate, Nixtor and English_august and thousands of people who sent flowers. How can someone stoop so low? Now they want to get media attention and that is why they have sneaked in this press release. IV core must come clean on this and clearly renounce these consistent immature acts of these con-artists. This org with extremely bad reputation and we must stay as far away from them as possible.

I had duplicate I-485 based on same I-140. The A#s were different on both I-485.I was concerned about AP / EaD renewals. I took infopass and went to USCIS today.
I was told both my applications are now consolidated and keying in either of receipt# or A# is bringing back both applications and its all set.

DOL claimed that the newspaper ad was sent to them without the date of it. So we sent them back the whole paper-page where the date is usually printed at the very top with my job ad on it.

Now my question is, did they ask you to submit the newspaper ad some point after your manager/lawyer submited your LC application online? It seems like you sent the just ad part and they were not satisfied with it and asked more evidence and you sent the whole page again. Did they deny your LC after you sent the whole page ad or what point did they deny it?

There is an expanded Conrad Bill with several co spnsors waiting in the wings and efforts are continuing to find a vehicle for it. As always we are up against "CIR only' and "nothing goes" legislators from either party who command significant votes together despite their opposing stands on immigration.
The health care reform bill, if it sees light of day may be one such vehicle. In the meanwhile we need you to contact your legislators and inform them of the issues. Take copies of the bill and explain its benefits. This will be invaluable if the bill does come up.

485 stage itself is called 'adjustment of status'. so using EAD or AP , takes u out of nonimmigrant status, and brings u into a intermediate status - thats why they write AOS/parolee on i94 if u use AP. . i dont think u become an "immigrant" untill ur 485/gc is approved.
