I think this is a hug issue that needs to be taken up with Ombudsman.
I am PD, Dec, 2004 and July 2 filer.
Mine is also NSC_CSC_NSC route.
Today, first level was unable to fileSR.
Second level said you are 400 days within processing time. Obviously, they are using 2006 date of CSC.

One more question:
When we create a application can we add any member with in the same group. My friend and myself are planning to visit India during the same time. We both are in 8th year extension and work for different companies. Both of us have to get VISA stamped. Can we create in the same application(ofcourse we need to create new application for each one after you create for one person) so that when we want to change dates like prepone or postpone it will be easy for us to modify the appointment date in one click. As dates keep changing every day/hour it will be easy for any one of us to monitor the available dates and change. We can change the dates only once and if we want do it again we need to cancel the appt and create a new one.

Thats it. This post is the final nail in the coffin :). These soft LUDs mean nothing. Confirmed!!! Thanx for sharing this info and n'joy ur green.
Been saying that since morning, the whole purpose of this thread was so others dont get the sudden adrenaline rush on seeing the LUD.
It took the whole day,and people still dont get it, and I get a red spot from someone claiming this is an unnecessary thread!!.
Heck, we are all waiting for the 485 processing to happen,without any visibility,so, any info, we get , we lap it up.
But, again ,like I said in the morning, this thread needs to be closed for replies and open just so, others can know that the sunday LUD was meaningless in the context of PD being current

I received my AP for the entire family thru' my lawyer and USCIS webpage is still showing that my 131 is in progress and case pending???
Hope it should not happen to the final GC!

I had my interview on the 30th and my passport has not been delivered yet. The VFS website says that the passport has not been handed over to them as of today. I was not given any 221g slip/form and the VO told me that i should be getting my PP in 5 days, it's been a week now and VFS hasn't got the PP yet. Is there something i should be worried about? I have my return ticket booked for next weekend and i am getting a bit nervous about the whole scenario. Does anyone know if there is any other way to get in touch with the New Delhi consulate?

We were exactly in the same situation few months ago. We were told that our visas have been issued and we will get our passports within 5-7 days (no 221g at the time of the interview). After 5 days when we contacted VFS they said wait upto 7 business days. I waited and then they gave me the number of the embassy. When we contacted embassy they said that an email has been sent to me asking more documents but we did not get any emails. We asked them to resend and after 3 days of our request we got their email with a soft copy of 221g(green).
We wish that similar thing may not happen with anyone as we know the tension of going thru it.
I would suggest that you call Embassy instead of calling VFS to get the real status. VFS will just tell if they got the passport or not. They can not tell you the reason.

Hello All, Pardon me if I'm bringing up the question that's already been answered, but couldn't find any answer anywhere in the forum.
I just received my FP notice today but my wife hasn't received any. I'll wait few more days certainly before calling USCIS, but has anybody come across this situation? We had mailed all the applications together at NSC and have Receipt Notices.
Does InfoPass come to any help here?

Hi All,
Thanks for the warm words.
I am very much around, just buried under a juggernaut project at work so I can't be IV 24-7. I hope to get a life in a month or so.
I have too much invested in IV and this whole issue to just walk away. That Senate bill has stuff the IV content team cracked and crafted, which the rest of the crew strategized to actually get into the bill that passed. We have to carry it to the finish line -- which may look like a mirage right now -- but we will get there.

Thanks so much for your reply. I think it will always a good idea to keep USCIS inform about your working condition since this is 'Employment based' case.
For AC21 I think I will need to match following:
1. New employment letter which should describe duties which 'must' be same or similar to what was mentioned in my labor certificate.
2. Start date/salary/position title
3. Any Benefits if provided.
Do I need any document from sposerer employer? Do I need anything else?

If you have the case no. go to online case status and take the print out of approved notice, that should serve you purpose hopefully if you don�t have a original copy

I am JBARRETT recepient but I got my stuff cahsed the otehr day at TSC. I guess the late was because of the tranfser of cases from NSC to TSC and nothing to do with BARRETTTT!!!!!!!!!!

1. I-131 EAD Application document
2. Copy of I-485 receipt notice
3. 2 colored passport pictures - recent
4. Cashiers cheque as stated in the form.
Send all this in and wait. You dont need an attorney to do this. This is really a simple procedure.

From my understanding you got your H1B approved(for 3 yrs) beyond 6 yrs even though 140 is once approved and later revoked. But I heard from my lawyers that once 140 is revoked/withdrawn its not possible for H1b extension beyond 6 yrs. Could you please let me know what details you attested for the RFE to convince USCIS? I am also in a kind of similar boat.

Just wanted to update everyone - I did respond to the I-140 RFE with detailed information for the delay in getting the degree - and my 140 was approved without any further questions. I hope that no one else gets into this situation - but if anyone needs help - I will be more than willing to help in what ever way I can.
