I installed untrackerd.
So since there is no answer to my earlier question, I take it that the posters who take issue with the tracking have not bothered to correct the issue on their phone and desktop, which would seem like they care more about posting complaints than being tracked.

Great job mods.... you deleted my September 2010 Desktops thread and allow other people create it...
It's because very few countries were in September and now nearly 24 hours later, most, if not all countries, are in September.

Took this one nearly 24 hours ago. It's an awesome screenshot of Batman from the Dark Knight (which I should hopefully get on Blu-ray soon, already have the movie in my iTunes library :D)

If I understand it right, it's randomly chosen from the list of songs that has only 1 recommendation (the submitter's) so that it gets more exposure than the once around on the main page. The rotation happens at 3:00 a.m. EST, if I'm not mistaken.

I love life in the melting pot, it's the one thing I really miss about living in London, there's just a degree of culture clash that you don't get outside of the capital.
I'm in London now and enjoying the mix of people. Nothing wrong with immigration and other people, "culture" isn't something that must be rigidly protected.

Some of you by now may have noticed I always seem to have Michael Jackson or South Park wallpapers (Okay, I doubt any of you have noticed because I'm not well known) but I can't wait for his new album out in two weeks! (My wallpaper is part of the cover... had to crop it for my desktop size)

Lethal injection is pretty messy. Oftentimes willing competent medical personnel are scarce, the procedure is badly executed, and things don't go very smoothly. Of course, you probably don't mind doing it a little bit sloppy and working in some extra pain, but the procedure is far from neat and clean. There is in fact plenty of evidence to the contrary.

I use VLC, Gimp, and SKYPE and Wiretap, altough streamRipper (which i discovered here) Seems much better cos it breaks up the tracks for you. I bought AirFoil, cos its a great concept. but there is a delay, so its sux for dvds and stuff.

That's the problem. The industry thinks that they can set the rules, when in fact it's the law makers and the judges that decide and implement them. I just wish the they (the politicians/judges, etc) would show a bit more understanding and concern for the consumer. After all, we're the ones who need protecting.
I'm not sure if I agree with you. Broadening "Fair Use", treads a fine line between justice and public abduction of creative property. The real answer is to boycott Hollywood until they start offering reasonable solutions... and the easiest (albeit illegal) way to send them a message is piracy. If you're not cool with that, then you're just going to have to go without movies, and convince your friends to do the same.

Loved battlezone and red baron as a small child....worth $.99 easily. May plug another buck for tempest. $15 for the package, a lot of which consists of atari 2600 titles which even had crappy graphics for the 70's, pass.

Yes im jailbroken and know how to shsh into my ipad. But from the looks of what i can find on google (not much) is that you have to be on 4.3.
I'm sure there is a way to SHSH this into 4.2.1 i just cant find anything on it.

I thought the same thing until I watched the streaming keynote video. MacRumors really ruined my day by misquoting Steve. I was super hyped all morning about hearing a lot about the Mac, but Steve actually said (and I'm partially paraphrasing):
"2007 is gonna be a great year for the mac, but that's all we're gonna say about it today. over the next several months we're gonna be rolling out some awesome new stuff for the mac... but for today we're gonna move on"
Had MacRumors taken the time to get that one tiny bit of information right in their live text feed, I wouldn't have been nearly as upset about the whole thing as I was. They built my hopes up very high with that remark and it really ticked me off.
I, too, kept waiting for him to move on to software or something Mac-related. That error in the text feed made my disappointment even worse.
