I am thinking of pulling the trigger with some new hardware. As a student, I know a route I can take is the student Apple Developer program. After searching for the ADC store to use the discount I notice its gone! Does anyone know if this program still exists?

here is a idea, don't do LD clients. and charge by the hours? cmon that is silly
get a quote and get client pay a third before working. call that a unrefundable deposit. so that way throughout the process, if for any reasons the client drop out, you still have some money for your time.

just seems to me that people are acting like its a feature that shouldn't be on a phone rather then one that is almost standard. it also just seems that IM's are quicker conversations then texts, but maybe i'm wrong about that cause on phones it's pretty much the same thing.

The 3G iPod opened the doors to all users. The mini added even more style and portability to it, making it very popular. The nano held even more songs in a smaller package with a color screen. The 5G iPod delivered all of the above with the ability to watch TV shows and movies on it. Each iPod has brought something to the table that's new and kept competitors guessing what they would do next. Advertising an iPhone, a major step for them, with instant messaging won't cut it. That's already out there. Up until the release of the 5G iPod, you couldn't buy TV shows legally on the internet. Instant messaging on your phone is offered by all of Apple's potential competitors should they decide to enter the mobile phone market.
yea, but i think that if they do a full tiny keyboard, they will be going for something similar to a sidekick. the sidekick 3 was a major let down.
I love the Sidekick. It's been a hugely successful phone. I think it was great that the SK3 added music, a 1.3 MP shooter, and EDGE, but I do agree they could have at least kept EDGE in there. I think Apple would be smart to make a device similar to the Sidekick. This doesn't mean that they need to make a swiveling screen, (even though it's been patented a million times by Danger) but I think people are starting to warm up to smartphones now. My generation (teen) and my sister's (early 20's) are especially. I have heard that Apple may be launching two devices: one simple phone and a smartphone, which is probably smart because not everyone is interested in a smartphone.

Its not like the movie stealing industry is promoted with the iPod video, and the fact people are willing to BUY THE VIDEO from iTunes in the first place shows good intentions. If I wanted to stealit, I'd rent the DVD, crack it, and stick it on my iPod, instead of buying off iTunes for a video specific apple device.

So what do you have against teachers making more? If teachers made more competitive salaries, there would be more competition for teaching jobs, thus leading to better quality teachers, ultimately resulting in better education.
I'd rather spend an extra $100/yr for better teachers rather than helping to pay for Tom Cruise's 39 estates.

All this stuff about "living under mum and dad's roof" is all well and good but it's not gonna work.
The guy is 18 and therefore you have no say in it. If you want to show him you trust him, make sure he is having safe sex (ask him "are you using a condom" - don't beat around the bush, it's sex, it's not anything to be ashamed of) and send him on his merry way.
It's time to let him make his own mistakes and decisions and the best thing you can do is to love and support him through it all. I was a good teenager, same sort of thing as your son - good grades (not that these mean you're a good person), nice friends, stable ideals but I found the sudden leap into adulthood one of the hardest things to do because I was suddenly in charge of my own life. My parents - though they vehemently opposed some of my decisions - supported me through them no matter what and that helped me to realise for myself my own interpretations of right and wrong and allowed me to grow as a person.
So don't treat him any differently, just make sure he knows the facts and is not doing anything unsafe, and let him go. There's no reason you can''t voice your disapproval but make sure he knows that this is his call and that you love him no matter what.

I decided to delete my previous windows partition. I ran out of room and could not find a safe away to add more room.
I am reinstalling Windows with 32gb. I am having trouble with this one question.
Where do you want to install windows?

disk 0 unallocated space 128 mb

I am a bit confused as to why there are 3 partitions since I deleted everything.

The bill is said to have bipartisan support, and the proponents have pointed out that it would save the state tens of millions of dollars. Of current topical interest is the fact that the lawmakers supporting the bill are marketing it as a cost-saving measure more than anything else.
It's somewhat sad how people's lives may boil down to a state government looking to save a few dollars. If it will save the money I will support ending it.

Trying to tell y'all... the Verizon iPhone released in February may truly have switched up the game.
Apple & Verizon came together, and will make LTE work within the iPhone sooner than later, and AT&T is playing catch-up within their entire layout of LTE.
If there is indeed a wait on the iPhone 5(no June/July release), I'd expect it coming with LTE in the 1st quarter of 2012, or possibly this fall. Apple is making COIN on the iPhone 4, and the next big thing is - LTE(4G).
Apple is playing this smart as usual... Or this all could be a rumor, and the iPhone 5 will be here in a couple months for a 'normal' launch update, and the iPhone 6 will be the first to introduce LTE in 2012.
I really don't know... but I do think Apple is playing the Ace of Spades, and may hold on for a new release of the iPhone 4(especially in Verizon's case - Feb '11) before the market, and more emphatically, Verizon's market adoption is seen & heard... Think about it... Apple releases the Verizon iPhone in February, then 4 months later releases a new iPhone - there is some bad business going on there.

Nothing quite brings the same joy to my heart as starting a render in FCP and having a look at Activity Monitor, and seeing a whopping two cores in use. Or having to export a QT file first because I can't send directly to Compressor.
Well to be fair, the camera manufacturers are twats for recording to a delivery codec in the first place
I agree 100% with both of your posts. It still bothers me that compressor is the only application that can make full use of both my Mac Pro�s CPUs.
And I really hate the look of low bitrate AVCHD but we have to work with it nonetheless.

And for others like specific folders and apps you can find a lot on DeviantArt (http://browse.deviantart.com/customization/icons/?qh=§ion=&q=flurry)
As for the stacks list view I use Tinkertool (http://www.bresink.com/osx/TinkerTool.html). Its a free app for accessing hidden OS X features, just click on the "dock" tab and beside "stacks" tick off "use large, grid-like style for list view"
