If this bill becomes a law, all retrogression will end. All provisions favorable to us, are there in the bill.
1. Increase of Immigrant visa to 290,000.
2. Master's degree from US in STEM field not counted in any quota.
3. Master's degree from a foreign country and three years of US experience not counted in any quota.
4. Family counted as one.
5. Recapture of visas from previous years
I hope I am DEAD WRONG. But this seems too good to be true!

I don't know about the wide angle lenses, but I don't think that would help that much in the dof problem you have.
Use this DOF calculator for your camera:
http://dfleming.ameranet.com/dofjs.html
The Sony at 38mm 12 inches away at f8 give you a near of of 11.8 and a far of 12.1. At 28mm 12 inches away you can get a near of 11.7 and far of 12.3.
If you play a bit with the calculator there, you can get an idea of the dof you can achieve with or without the wide angle lenses.

I don't mean to step on your toes here but I think you've missed something. The sony is a 38mm equivalent. I believe its actually a 9.7mm-48.5mm lens and these numbers should be used for calculating the DOF, unless the calculator says otherwise. In this case you can obtain the DOF that Daniel desires and it may actually be easier with a digicam than with an SLR based camera. AHHH I thinkI just suggested a digicam is better than a SLR.

My question is; Why do you really want to bring your jwellery here? Why not keep in some safety locker (bank) in India. Is it attractive to walk around with huge gold chains/bangles in the US? Also we have been hearing about burglaries in Indian households becuause of easy access to gold.
Buy gold and keep it in locker in India. Come here with some "duplicate gold" and live free.:D:D:D
Thats what we did when comming back to US in 2007 . but couldnot resist on few and bought along. Now those few are the one i am concerned about travelling back and forth!
Last time when i went to India took 10coins and had to feed the customs Rs.10K. Not sure if it was still a good math compared to pay cash and buy gold in India instead of travelling with coins.

I went to Consulate General of Mexico, New York this morning, when the Visa officer asked me for my air tickets I told her that I am taking a cruise that has a stop in Calica, Mexico. She told me that a visa is not required in such cases and gave me a flyer that contains this info.

I had the same situation:
1. On the application form list your parents name as you want it. They will print the new name on the renewal passport. (I was not asked for any additional documents)

If its been more than 180 days since your 140 was approved, can you not use AC21 to move to a new job (similar). even if the old company revokes the 140, you will get RFE/NOID and you can reply back in specified time.

- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
Job B: Project Manager
- Accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities.
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.

Anywho, Win32 is a pretty cool API. One thing I'd recommend is Visual Studio's help files, or just creating a project in visual studio where the Win32 code is written in automatically, and then studying that code.
If you're not using Visual Studio, a highly recommend you use it as a compiler. There is a scaled down free version.

My wife is in h4 now and received the EAD. I also received it, everybody is saying if she uses her EAD her H4 will be invalid. Is that a good or bad thing? What about she lost her job after three months? what will be her status? also is we travel using the AP what will be her status? or it doesn't matter as long you have the EAD and AP......
Yes, she will lose her H4 status if she uses EAD. Her new status will be 485-pending.
At this point, if she quits/loses job, that's fine, as her status is not bound to the EAD/job, but to her 485 pending status. She will be able to travel on AP, or apply for new H4 outside (I'm not sure about the later part, so, I'd suggest using AP).
The only risk is, if her 485 application gets denied, she will be out of status, and will have to leave immediately. However, if you still have your H1 valid, she can apply for an H4 again outside the country.
