Three possibilities:
a) Stolen stock.
b) Purchased directly from a "contact" in China.
c) Purchased using surplus advertising budget, so even if they loose money selling them it wouldn't be a loss. This could be the reason why there's limited stock, only a few units available at a time for each store.
I may get one for my wife anyways. She wouldn't need more than 16GB for sure.

I have a slightly used copy of NBA Live 06 for the 360. I am looking to get $50 shipped for this. I have 100% positive feedback under rhelfrey on ebay. The whole notion that Europeans drive smaller cars because their streets are narrow is partially myth. Don't forget - Europe has modern cities with divided highways too, just like the US does. It is true that many cities and towns in Europe are more compact because of their age (Americans who live in certain parts of Boston or Philadelphia will be familiar with what 17th century streets look like). But the smaller size of cars in Europe is more closely related to the austerity of the post-WWII years setting a standard of smaller cars, fuel prices being higher, and higher taxes for larger cars.
Sat in the new Passat at the NAIAS this weekend because of this thread. Its a nice car, roomy, comfortable, kind of "mean" looking on the outside. I liked it.
I won't be able to look at one in the flesh till they hit dealers. The success of the new Passat will depend on how many new buyers Volkswagen lures, since that was the purpose of the "decontenting".
As an aside, I wish they'd bring the Golf GTD over here. I would be strongly tempted to buy one.

2009 Mac Pro Octo 2.26 reporting for duty.
alright! that machine should put out some good points! as mentioned before, there's no bigadv for Mac OS X right now, only windows and linux. so if you are running snow leopard, you can still run the smp client, and with a passkey, you'll still get a bonus
I'll have my new i7-2600k computer coming online sometime next week after I complete its construction and thorough testing (ahem.. overclocking..). All of the parts for it are arriving today (including the new revised SB motherboard finally!), but except for unfortunately the ram is coming via USPS and is currently in Ontario, CA bound for northern CA so it may be here on saturday but I'm not optimistic. I'm pretty excited for this actually, this will be (relatively speaking) the fastest computer I've ever had.

It seems Kobe used to word "******" at a ref. Honestly it seems the "gay community" takes things way out of proportion and needs to relax a little, even if he is a celebrity the gay community needs to chill.
We (the general public) are tightening up the "gay slur" leash a little to tight. I know I use the word ****** or thats gay when I do things, even if I look at a pink motorcycle I'm like that's gay. It has nothing to do with gays in general, so why flip out over it?
